Amabuki – the ‘wind of heaven’ – represents a force that is invisible yet palpable: gentle, supportive, and at the same time full of movement. Like a wind that touches without holding fast, this idea inspires us on our shared journey through rope. From this idea, our understanding of Shibari has grown far beyond mere technique:

We see Shibari as a shared dance – a flowing, living expression in which rope and movement merge. Having been a couple for many years, we discovered our passion for rope three years ago. For us, the focus is particularly on emotional bondage and the deep, trusting bond it creates.
